• Maintain security and prevent misuse
• Comply with legal, regulatory, and operational requirements

CareSignal may send SMS text messages and phone alerts related to:

• Daily check-ins
• Help requests and urgent alerts
• Missed check-ins
• Alert acknowledgments
• Account or notification updates

Message frequency may vary depending on user settings, check-in activity, and alert events. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from CareSignal. After texting STOP, we will send a one-time SMS to confirm you have been unsubscribed.

You may request help at any time by replying HELP.

Opting out of SMS may limit CareSignal's ability to send certain safety and wellness alerts.

CareSignal does not use SMS alerts for marketing or promotional messaging.

Users consent to receive CareSignal SMS alerts when they create a CareSignal account, provide a mobile phone number, and agree to receive safety and wellness notifications.

Users may also consent by accepting an invitation from a senior, family account owner, caregiver, or authorized account administrator. Users must provide express consent through a double opt-in process or direct account verification before receiving SMS alerts.

CareSignal messages are transactional safety and wellness notifications. They are not promotional or marketing messages.

If a phone number is added by another person, CareSignal will not send SMS alerts to that number unless the recipient has provided consent through the required verification or opt-in process.

Users may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Users may request help by replying HELP.

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information only as needed to operate CareSignal, including with:

• Approved family members or caregivers connected to a senior account
• Service providers that help deliver SMS, phone calls, email, push notifications, hosting, security, or analytics
• Legal or regulatory authorities when required by law
• Successor organizations if CareSignal is involved in a merger, acquisition, or business transfer

Service providers are only permitted to use information as needed to provide services to CareSignal.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

CareSignal may use trusted third-party providers, including but not limited to:

• Cloud hosting and database providers
• SMS and voice communication providers
• Push notification and email delivery providers
• Analytics and monitoring tools

These providers may process information only to support CareSignal's services.

CareSignal may process health-related information entered by users, such as check-in status, optional vitals, or notes.

CareSignal is intended to support family awareness and wellness monitoring. CareSignal does not provide medical care, emergency response, diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice.

CareSignal is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

CareSignal may include links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.

CareSignal may process health-related information entered by users, including check-in status, optional vital information, notes, and alert history.

CareSignal is designed to support wellness awareness, family communication, and safety notifications. CareSignal is not a medical provider, emergency response provider, or substitute for professional medical care.

Where CareSignal is used by or on behalf of a covered healthcare provider, health plan, or other regulated healthcare organization, additional HIPAA-related obligations may apply. In those cases, CareSignal will use appropriate safeguards to help protect applicable health information.
