CareSignal is a wellness and safety communication tool designed to help seniors, family members, caregivers, and authorized contacts stay connected through check-ins, alerts, and notifications.
CareSignal may allow users to:
- Complete daily wellness check-ins
- Send "I'm OK," "I Need Help," or "Urgent Help" alerts
- Notify designated family members or caregivers
- Receive SMS, push notification, email, or phone call alerts
- Optionally capture basic wellness information (e.g. blood pressure or blood sugar)

CareSignal is intended to support awareness and communication. It is not a replacement for emergency services, medical care, clinical monitoring, professional caregiving, or medical advice.
2. Emergency Disclaimer
CareSignal is not an emergency response service.
If you or someone else is experiencing a medical emergency, safety emergency, or life-threatening situation, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.
CareSignal does not guarantee that alerts will be received, read, acknowledged, or acted upon in time to prevent harm.
3. Eligibility to Use CareSignal
You may use CareSignal only if you are legally able to enter into these Terms and are authorized to use the account or service.
If you create or manage an account for another person, including a senior family member, you represent that you have the authority to do so and that all contact information you provide is accurate.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information. You agree to:
- Provide accurate account information

5. Senior and Family Account Linking
CareSignal may allow senior accounts to connect with designated family members, caregivers, or authorized contacts. Family members or caregivers may receive limited visibility into check-ins, alerts, notification preferences, or wellness information depending on account settings and permissions.
If a phone number, email address, or contact is added for alerts, that person must provide consent before receiving SMS alerts or other communications where required.
6. SMS Terms
CareSignal may send SMS text messages related to:
- Daily check-ins
- Help requests and urgent alerts
- Missed check-ins
- Alert acknowledgments
- Account or notification updates
Message frequency varies based on user activity, alert settings, and check-in behavior. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any CareSignal text message. After you reply STOP, we will send one final confirmation message confirming you have been unsubscribed. You will not receive additional SMS messages unless you re-enroll or provide consent again.
You may request assistance by replying HELP.
CareSignal SMS messages are transactional safety and wellness notifications. They are not promotional or marketing messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
If you change, deactivate, transfer, or stop using your mobile phone number, you agree to update your account information immediately to prevent messages from being sent to the new owner or user of your old number.
7. Consent to Receive Messages
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to CareSignal alerts, you agree to receive SMS messages, phone alerts, or other notifications related to CareSignal services.
Users may consent by:
- Creating a CareSignal account
- Accepting an invitation to receive alerts
- Verifying their phone number
- Completing a direct opt-in or double opt-in process
If a phone number is entered by another person, CareSignal will not send SMS alerts to that number unless the recipient has provided consent through the required verification or opt-in process.
