CareSignal SMS Consent & Text Alert Opt-In

CareSignal is a wellness awareness and family communication service operated by ZAYBU CONSULTING SOLUTIONS INC. under the MedTech Care brand. CareSignal provides transactional wellness and safety notifications to authorized family members and caregivers who are linked to a senior CareSignal account.

CareSignal SMS alerts are available only to designated Family-side users, caregivers, and authorized contacts who are linked to a senior account and who expressly opt in to receive Text Alerts. Senior accounts do not receive SMS alerts under this messaging campaign.

Providing a mobile phone number, creating a CareSignal account, accepting an invitation, or linking to a senior account does not by itself constitute consent to receive SMS messages. Text Alerts are optional and are disabled by default.

1. The user signs in to their CareSignal Family Account.
2. The Family account is linked to a senior CareSignal account.
3. The user navigates to Settings → Alert Settings.
4. The user selects Text Alert for an eligible alert type.
5. Because Text Alerts are OFF by default, CareSignal displays the Enable Text Alerts consent screen before SMS can be enabled.
6. The user reviews the SMS disclosure and must affirmatively select Enable Text Alerts to opt in.
7. The user may select Cancel instead and continue using CareSignal without receiving SMS messages.

The screenshot above shows the SMS consent disclosure presented to an eligible linked Family user before Text Alerts can be enabled. SMS messaging is not enabled unless the user affirmatively selects Enable Text Alerts. The user may select Cancel and continue using CareSignal without SMS messaging.

Users who enable Text Alerts may receive recurring transactional CareSignal SMS notifications regarding their linked senior's wellness check-ins, I Need Help requests, Urgent Help requests, missed or expected check-ins, alert acknowledgments, and related wellness or alert-status notifications. CareSignal SMS messages under this program are transactional and are not promotional or advertising messages.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

SMS consent is optional and is not required to create or use a CareSignal account. Users who do not enable Text Alerts may continue using other CareSignal features and available notification methods.

Recipients may reply STOP to CareSignal SMS messages at any time to unsubscribe. Recipients may reply HELP for assistance. After opting out, no further CareSignal SMS messages will be sent unless the recipient subsequently re-enrolls through a supported opt-in method.
